Testimonials, Kenya Safari Reviews - Safari Recommendations
We greatly value our clients feeling about our services. African Sermon Safaris appreciates offering value for money and excellent services throughout the trips we do. Below, sample some of the comments received from a list of our many satisfied clients:
We had always dreamed of a safari in Kenya and African Sermon Safaris certainly delivered! What a fantastic time we had. Our expectations were certainly exceeded. Daniel facilitated our entrance and departure with personal care. John Kabiro our driver and guide, ensured our own safety and security. He personally made sure we enjoyed every second and saw more than we had set out to see. We quickly became friends with John, sharing many good laughs together on the road. He was very knowledgeable about the local culture and the parks and answered all of our questions. He was also very patient, waiting while we shot photos of every bird and animal. Also, much to our delight, he was not only proficient with identifying various animal species, but also bird species. So there was always something for us to see, every moment of our adventure! All accommodation was first-rate and each location offered something unique, along with all the living conditions we had expected. The food was also excellent. Our favourite sites in the end were the Sweetwaters Tented Camp, Flamingo Camp in Lake Nakuru and Mara Serena Lodge in Masai Mara. Although rustic (which ended up being the charm of the sites), we were very comfortable and cared for very well by the staff. The rustic nature also lent to the special experiences that we had - zebras at sight from our lodge, visiting baboons on our porch in the morning and hearing lions in the distance at sunrise. Every staff member we came in contact with, from the Managers, to the wait staff, porters and night sentries, was very friendly, warm and attentive. These are our fondest memories of Africa! We would return to visit these three charming accommodations and the staff in a heartbeat! After seeing first-hand the "factory" tours and game viewing drives provided by other tour operators, we are so very glad we chose African Sermon Safaris for their ability to offer us a private tour; really was a trip of a lifetime! We would not have asked for more.
I cannot compliment you enough concerning my recent 6 day climb (trek) up Mt. Kenya. Each item that you had promised to do, you did and them some more. You met me promptly at the airport and transfers from Nairobi to Mt. Kenya and return were also "on time".
Your staff of guide Robin and assistant/cook Elijah were courteous, knowledgeable and made sure that my every need was taken care of; most importantly on the trail and also in the huts. The food was tasty and very plentiful. the last push up to Lenana point was difficult, so Elijah who was my guide for this portion, stayed next to me the whole way and assisted me as needed.
Rest assured that I will recommend your agency to any of my friends who are considering travelling to Kenya.

Trip: Mount Kenya Climbing 06 days Sirimon Down Chogoria, 2006
I just recently returned from a three day safari with African Sermon Safaris to Masai Mara. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. Arriving into Nairobi very early in the morning, they booked us a complimentary room at a nearby hotel to freshen up and rest before our journey. Our guide was also very good, and the food was plentiful and much better than expected for a camping safari. I recommend this company to anybody looking for a moderately priced tented camp safari.

Our entire group of 12 would like to thank your for the organization of the trip. Just some points we want to reach your attention:
1) The guides were much more experienced and helpful than we thought. They helped with the check-in and knew exactly what time we did what things.
2) Hotel in Arusha is not good, despite of excellent dinners. Maybe after reconstruction that now starts it became better, but right now I can not recommend it to other people.
3) We expected more seafood staying at Mafia, not only fish.
All the rest were the best!
Also wanted to check with you if you can send us some printed materials concerning possibilities you propose.
Thank you again,

Trip: Kenya/Tanzania, Kilimanjaro Climb and Mafia Island, November 9 - 25, 2006
The trip was fantastic - everything you promised. And David (and his guide-in-training) were great. We stopped in Europe on the way back so are just now over our jet lag. Will write again and send some pictures once we are organized.
Thanks again for putting this together for us - it was all we expected and more.

Thanks for your e-mail
Please pass on our thanks and Best Wishes to Moses, Benson, John and the boys they did us proud
My only recommendation is that Mintos Hut on Mount Kenya is filthy and you should consider eliminating it on the itinerary.
Thanks again for organizing the trip.
Best Wishes and a Happy New Year!

Trip: Sweetwaters Tented Camp Safari and 05 Days Mount Kenya climbing, December 2006
It's so good to hear from you! We had a wonderful, wonderful time. We both got back yesterday and we are in work today which is a real shame!
But I just wanted to say we were so impressed with the service we received, yourself and Godfrey took care of everything we needed and I would not hesitate to recommend your company to others. Godfrey managed to find us ALL of the big five which was a huge achievement and unforgettable!
I truly can't think of much to feedback about except for good things -- we were particularly impressed with your communication and reliability and also how much you and your staff put yourselves out for us -- for instance our driver who picked us up before the safari took us into town to kill some time and showed us around and Godfrey helpfully dropped us off at Nakumatt before taking us to the airport -- we were so impressed and grateful that you did this.
Many thanks for all your help and I will definitely be telling other people in the UK about you! Please pass on all my good wishes to Godfrey too. I'm sure Jamie will be emailing you soon too

Dear Shifta and Daniel,
Hello and how are you keeping?
It was good to meet you. Both Howard and myself wish to thank you for the most enjoyable safari we had, organized by yourselves. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will consider another in years to come - probably in Tanzania next, during the migration period. We are still remembering our safari and miss Kenya very much.
Please pass our regards and a big thank you to Peter for his good company and professionalism during our week together.
Please can you also forward these photographs to him as no doubt he'll know what they were about!
With warm regards

I would like to tell you, that the 5 of us from Denmark had a very big experience in visiting Kenya and trekking on Mount Kenya. As told we all had a great experience. For some of us it was probably the biggest in our lives. In fact we all dream about returning soon, and most of us would like to climb the mountain again. But we would also like to have some time to see more wild animals. Of course, it was our own decision from the beginning.
Everything was perfect. It was a very big gesture of you to wait for so many hours in the Airport. Asante again. Everything and everyone was very precise. And any delays was only made because of us. Everybody in the crew at the mountain was very professional. The food was outstanding considering the circumstances. And it was made to prevent bad stomachs. People were kind, laughing and we all felt as friends. It was very nice too.
The young man Bo was sick on the morning when we left Nairobi, and Godfrey was concerned about him. But he got better while he was sleeping during most of the flight. Astrid was not afraid of flying back. I saw half of Africa through the window in the plane. It was great too.
Please give my regards and say Asante to all, you meet. Godfrey, Robin, Joseph and the porters.
If you have the address of Robin, we would send a letter of thanks to him.
I will send a small article to the biggest Danish Sunday newspaper to tell about our journey,

Trip: 04 Days Mount Kenya climbing, Sirimon Route, October 2005
We really had a marvelous time in Kenya, precisely Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Samburu, Mount Kenya and Amboseli. All the way from arrival to our departure, we felt like we were with our old friends - truly hospitable people. I have told everyone about this safari. The food was great, the accommodations terrific and the sights amazing. Above all, we enjoyed everything!
